In a Nutshell: I visited North Korea in late 2014 and over 16 days ventured to all corners of this mysterious nation on one of the longest itineraries ever executed for foreigners. Here are 100 photos (part 1) taken during this visit to North Korea.

These are incredible photos! Thank you so much for sharing. As I looked at them, a great feeling of sorrow came over me. Why are there so many cruel people in power in so many countries? Why do people in so many countries live under repression and suppression when all they really want is the freedom to live in peace, to raise a family, to earn a living, and to be productive members of society? Think of all the good these leaders could do. Think of the potential. I weep for the citizens of North Korea. God bless them all.
Very Nice! Beautiful Pictures.
Very enjoyable, thank you much!
That was real interesting to read and the pictures are wonderful.
Thanks a lot.
Fantastic !
Very interesting indeed, Thank you for sharing. I must say I’m glad I’m an American, because I don’t think it’s appropriate to bow to a statue of a man but whatever rocks your boat. I’m sure it’s out of respect for their leader, bu he is only a man. But again, the pics were nice.
This was awesome Elliot! So interesting and eye opening. You did a wonderful job with the descriptions as well which just completed the whole package for me. Thank you for sharing!
Wow! Wow! Thank you, Elliot, for sharing your very caring and very touching story of North Korea and tons of beautiful pictures. Some of them are just amazing…
