In a Nutshell: I visited North Korea in late 2014 and over 16 days ventured to all corners of this mysterious nation on one of the longest itineraries ever executed for foreigners. Here are 100 photos (part 1) taken during this visit to North Korea.

Great pics
Am reading lots about North Korea and would love to see it for myself one day – alas probably not gunna happen!
Meanwhile these pics help to satisfy some of my curiosity.
Cheers!
Thanks! Glad to be of service 🙂 Don’t write off visiting North Korea, the power of the tourism dollar has had a drastic impact (and continues to do so) in opening the country further to visitors, making a short visit easier. It’d be an experience you wouldn’t soon forget, that’s for certain!
…absolutly great pics…..congratulation!!!!
That`s´pics where you can see the reality…..unbelievable!!!!!
I wish we can see more like this!!

Riveting stuff. Great variety of political, militaristic, and civilian photos. Kudos
Dog meat soup with extra teeth sign me Uuuuuup!
No old people.
I read online somewhere within the past year that 60% of the population of North Korea is addicted to metha-amphetamine, which is prevalent as the isolated, international currency-short government manufactures it for sale outside the country. This may also help explain Dennis Rodman’s extended visits and resulting enthusiasm.
I’d like a no #14 haircut please.
Very nice pictures and looks like a culture worthy of respect and appreciation.
Outstanding pictures…I bet you were worried at times about them catching you w/several of the pictures witch made what they represented a joke because a few of us know what they were… If you noticed something (there were hardly any people floating about in any of the pictures) It was like thinking they were all scared to be in public or afraid to be seen least they were going to be punished or something or other. Just have to believe what I feel is what I have seen while looking at your outstanding pictures.
Thank you much for your eye opening flicks about the other side!!!!
Yours Sincerely,
S. Teal
Absolutely Amazing!
